Covering a mile of wooded area, the extravagant holiday-themed display illustrates everything from Santa and his elves, to his reindeer and more. This display lights up the woods in seasonal colors that will bring out the holiday spirit in everyone.

And you don’t need to bundle up the whole family to stay warm for this light show. You just hop in the car, turn on Warm 98, and head over to Sharon Woods to drive through the wonderful attraction in the comfort and warmth of your car.

Santa is taking over Holiday In Lights once again by joining the visitors after the light show inside Santaland. Visitors can park their cars and stroll into Santaland’s heated facility, enjoy a nice cup of their favorite hot holiday beverage and watch an assortment of holiday entertainment. You can even get your picture taken with Santa Claus! But make sure you hurry in before Christmas because Santa has to go back to the North Pole Dec. 24.

The Dickens Carolers stroll through the facility on the weekends singing holiday tunes, Santa’s bakers provide sugary treats for everyone to enjoy, and holiday traditional entertainment such as puppet plays about Ebenezer Scrooge, elves, and a talking Christmas tree are scheduled every night. A gift shop is available for Christmas shopping as well.

“To walk through, it is $5 a person and a portion of the proceeds go toward the SPCA to support their organization,” says Barbara Scull, president of the Alleen Company. “And yes, pets are welcome on this day.”

“We also hold a 5K run/walk the Saturday evening before Thanksgiving. This year is the seventh annual and it sells out every year. It is a great warm up for the Thanksgiving day race,” adds Barbara. “After the race we hold a big party to celebrate.”

Holiday In Lights has been running for over 20 years and is presented by the Alleen Company of Cincinnati.
