Woodson Bend Resort is home to a condominium development nestled among the trees that surround the peninsula, offering visitors a quiet retreat into nature. The over 480 individually owned properties all include amenities like central air-conditioning, grills, wood-burning fireplaces, screened-in porches and fully equipped kitchens. Each condominium, however, is decorated differently to reflect the individual owner’s taste. A gated security entrance to the resort provides guests with safety and peace of mind while vacationing.
Lake Cumberland itself offers plenty of fishing, hiking and boating opportunities, including kayaking and canoeing, and Woodson
Bend provides even more fun. A short walk across the resort leads to the banks of the lake, providing easy access to fishers, and a dock and mechanical boat launch allow visitors to enjoy their watercraft without leaving the resort. An 18-hole championship golf course winds through the trees, and a driving range offers golfers of any skill level a chance to improve their game.
The resort also has a swimming pool, playground and volleyball, tennis and basketball courts available for guests looking to get moving and active outside. The speed limit within the resort is set to 25 miles per hour so that guests can safely bike, skateboard, inline skate or walk its grounds. An outdoor fire pit and pavilion provide additional areas to enjoy the outdoors.
On-site dining is also provided, with a pool snack bar open during pool season and the Pro Shop Grill open for breakfast and lunch. For dinner, Mulligan’s offers a wide range of options including steak, ribs and seafood.
Groups are welcome to plan events at Woodson Bend Resort, with meeting and party rooms available in the multi-purpose clubhouse. An on-site laundromat is also available.
Woodson Bend also offers events for guests such as golf championship member games, kids’ karaoke nights and nighttime rounds of golf.
